Rich Koslowski

Rich Koslowski started his professional career in animation, storyboarding many popular kid’s programs including Sonic The Hedgehog. This opened the “Comic Book” doors for him at Archie Comics where they were publishing the popular Sonic Comic.

His lifelong dream of working in comics now realized, he decided to take a stab at self-publishing with his one-shot, tongue-in-cheek comic, How To Pick Up Girls If You’re A Comic Book Geek. The success of How To… encouraged him to launch a series based on the three main characters called, The 3 Geeks (later Geeksville; Image Comics). The 3 Geeks received three 1999 Eisner Award nominations.

In 2002 he wrote and illustrated his first graphic novel, Three Fingers (Top Shelf Productions) which won the coveted Ignatz Award for “Outstanding Graphic Novel” and was named as one of the “500 Essential Graphic Novels” in 2008. Other publications include The King (2005), The List (2007) and Weapon Omega (Marvel 2008).

In the summer of 2010 Rich illustrated the award-winning graphic novel (written by JD Arnold), BB Wolf And The Three L.P.s. This retelling of a classic fairytale was also accompanied by an original blues cd that Koslowski co-wrote, produced and sang on...the realization of another dream!

In 2011 Rich was asked to work on the Amazon Studios Horror Motion Comic, The Temple, where he was the principle artist.

In 2013 he published and contributed writing and art duties on the popular, Zombies vs Cheerleaders series
